This is a nice little site/blog I stumbled across the other day and is an offshoot of Mediabistro (for those of you familiar with them.

Galleycat flips you some nice little tidbits from the publishing world, like the fact that the recent issue of Granta outsold Dan Brown’s new book in Chicago. (Of course, so did Sarah Palin’s book, so that may not mean much) or that Elmore Leonard received a Lifetime Achievement Award from PEN USA or that two major literary programs (Stanford’s 30 year-old Publishing course, and Columbia’s Book Review Seminar) have either shut down or been postponed. There are interviews with authors, job-listings, and more. If you’re a publishing Geek who wants to know what’s going on behind the scenes, Galleycat is a fun resource.
