Minnesota Review Call for SubmissionsMarch 3, 2010
After a nomadic existence, the minnesota review has finally found a home at Virginia Tech. Under the guidance of Bob Hicok and Virginia Tech MFA students, our editorial board is focused on reshaping the creative identity of the journal.
We are now reading previously unpublished fiction and poetry from new and established writers and looking for submissions of one piece of short fiction (up to 10,000 words) or three to five poems via our online submission system
The submission deadline is April 1, 2010.
Simultaneous submissions are welcomed, but we ask that you inform us immediately if a piece has been accepted elsewhere. Responses will be provided via email. Payment will be
in the form of two free copies of the journal in which your work appears, which we will send to you upon publication.
So, in the words of Bob Hicok, “Send us your shiniest shit.” The PG-rated version: send us your best new fiction and poetry, from formal to experimental, addressing a wide variety of content and perspectives.
Thanks, and we look forward to reading your work.
